Viewing & Adding Memories

See what an agent has remembered so far, and add a memory to it by hand.

Agent memory is a set of short notes an agent keeps about you and your workspace. Unlike a single chat's history, these notes carry across conversations — the agent saves new ones on its own as you chat (see Memory Tools in Conversation), and brings back the most relevant ones whenever you talk to it, so you don't have to repeat context every time.

Where to Find It

Open Agents  in the sidebar, open the agent you want, then go to its Memory  tab.

Viewing What an Agent Remembers

The Memory  tab lists everything the agent has saved as cards, with a count at the top (e.g. "2 memories").

FieldWhat It Shows
NameA short title for the note.
ContentThe note itself, as plain text.
UpdatedWhen the note was last changed.

If the agent hasn't saved anything yet, the tab shows: "No memories yet. The agent will start saving as you chat — or add one manually."

Adding a Memory

Click Add memory  and fill in the form.

1
Name it
Give the memory a short Name— this acts as the note's title. Reusing the name of an existing memory overwrites it instead of creating a duplicate.
2
Write the content
Fill in the Content  field with the note itself, as plain text — IDs, preferences, or any other context worth keeping.
3
Save it
Click Save memory. It appears in the list right away.
ℹ️Note

You need to save the agent itself before you can add memories to it. Until then, the Add memory  button is disabled.

To change or remove a saved memory, see Editing & Deleting Memories. To understand how the agent decides which memories to bring back into a given conversation, see How Memory Recall Works.
