Schedule
Advanced Options
Fine-tune how a schedule behaves, beyond just when it runs.
When creating or editing a schedule, you can adjust these optional settings:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Timezone | The timezone the schedule's timing is interpreted in. Auto-detected by default. |
| Humanize timing | Adds a small random delay of up to 30 minutes so runs don't all fire at the exact same second. |
| Business hours only | Skips runs that would fall outside your chosen work days and hours. |
| Require approval before destructive actions | Pauses the run and asks you to approve before it posts or sends anything. |
| Active window | Optional Start and End dates. The schedule only runs between them. Leave blank for no limit. |
💡Tip
The active window's Start and End dates let a schedule wait to begin and then automatically stop running on its own once it passes its end date — you don't need to remember to come back and turn it off manually.
See Approvals on Scheduled Runs for more on how the approval option works.
