Email Inbox
Forwarding an Existing Mailbox
Point an existing mailbox, like Gmail, at an agent's address so its mail flows into the Inbox.
Instead of giving out an agent's address directly, you can point an existing mailbox — for example Gmail — at it, so mail sent to that mailbox flows into the Inbox too. Your email provider's forwarding instructions explain the exact steps for setting this up on their end.
1
Add the address as a forwarding destination
In your email provider's forwarding settings, add the agent's inbox address as a forwarding destination.
2
Confirm forwarding
A one-time confirmation email arrives in the Inbox. Open it and click Confirm forwarding, or paste the confirmation code into your provider if it asks for one instead.
3
Turn forwarding on
Back in your provider, choose to forward a copy of incoming mail and save the setting. Confirming alone doesn't start forwarding — you have to turn it on separately.
4
Send a test email
Send a genuine message to the forwarded mailbox to activate it. It should arrive in the Inbox within a minute.
ℹ️Note
Forwarded mail still follows the agent's Approved Senders list. Only approved senders are processed — everything else is marked as spam. Add * to the list to accept mail from all senders.
