Connecting MCP Tool Servers
Connect a tool server to give your agents extra capabilities.
The MCP tab lists connectable tool servers that give agents extra capabilities. Click Connect on one to open its connect dialog — how you connect depends on the server:
| Sign-in method | What you do |
|---|---|
| No credentials | Click Add to workspace, nothing else needed |
| API key | Paste the key and any other required fields, then click Connect |
| Sign in (OAuth) | Click Connect, authorize in the popup, and wait for confirmation |
Once connected, the tool is added to your workspace's Tools, and you can assign it to agents. A server that's already connected shows as Connected on the MCP tab.
💡Tip
Connecting accounts and credentials is handled securely. If a popup closes without confirming, reopen the Connect dialog and try again, or check Tools to see if the connection already went through.
