Knowledge Base
Adding Documents
Upload files or type text directly into a knowledge base.
Uploading Documents
Select a knowledge base, click Upload, and pick a file. While it processes, a Preparing indicator shows; once done, the document appears in the document list.
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Accepted file types | PDF, TXT, and Markdown (.pdf, .txt, .md) |
| Maximum file size | 10MB per file |
ℹ️Note
Preparing a document for search happens automatically. For PDFs, the text is read out of the file for you. You don't configure anything about processing — you just upload, and it's ready to search.
Adding a Text Document
If you don't have a file handy, you can type content directly into a knowledge base instead.
1
Open the text editor
Click the + next to Upload (the Create text file button).
2
Write it
Enter a Filename and type or paste the content.
3
Save it
Click Save. It's added to the knowledge base just like an uploaded file.
⚠️Warning
There's no website-crawling or Notion/Google Drive syncing feature. Documents must be uploaded as files or typed in directly — there's no way to automatically pull content in from another source.
